I have been in love with Ellie Lash Designs for a long long long time and when Ellie retired I was so sad her designs are just adorable and with all the photos of my grand daughter Sophie I NEED lots and lots of Ellie in my stash :) when Ellie came out of retirement I was so excited and just had to bug her to let me be on her CT and guess what???? I am! I was so honored and excited to create layouts for this sweet and talented lady! Challenge at the Orchard

Long time no post :) I keep forgetting to update my blog I am such a bad blogger but I am trying to turn over a new leaf and start posting weekly or more if I can get myself organized so don't hold your breathe I would hate for you to pass out ;)

Sophie and America's Next Top Model

Sophie loves to watch TV and getting her attention away from it is near to impossible short of shutting it off and her mommy is just like her grandma always has the TV on in the background so on this day America's Next Top Model was playing in the background and I was trying so hard to get Sophie to smile making all kinds of noises and faces she wouldn't even look at me she was so fascinated by Tyra Banks :P Here is a layout of one of the photos I took that day.

Challenges Challenges Challenges

I always love a good challenge to help spark my creativity and I know just the place for you to find some wonderful challenges! The Scrap Orchard each month us Honeybee's host a different challenge giving you a total of 28 different challenges to choose from awesome right???? This month I am the host of the Mystery Challenge and I am challenging you to dig deep into your stash of digital goodies or photos and scrap using the oldest item you can find. I decided to dig deep into both my digi goodies and my photos and do two different layouts. The first one I used the oldest digital photo I could find of my cat Frasier and yes it is a terrible photo but one I treasure because it is the only one that I have of him that young he always took off from the camera :(
I used some new goodies from the Orchard from the Newest Orchard Designer Designs by Kat she is certainly well on her way to becoming one of my favorite designers her kits are just gorgeous and the perfect mix of elements and colors. I used her kit Lil Monsters and I also used a template from one of the Orchards May guests NeeNee Designs Templatez Vol 7 I think I have now used all of the templates in this pack something that I just never do if that tells you how awesome these templates are????

and I also created this layout using one of the oldest kits in my stash Through the Looking Glass by Irene Alexeeva

Check out Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum such a fitting name for the 2 goofiest cats ever!

The Orchard is Back baby

Yay my home away from home is back! The Orchard went down on Sunday for a planned migration to a new server Sunday evening and after many many hours of outage from the old host was finally able to reopen and I am one happy little bee! Felt so lost without my Orchard to buzz around!

A few of my recent layouts from the Scrap Orchard. This one is using the amazing kit Backyard Splash by Jady Day Studio. I had a blast using this kit it sorta just scrapped on it's own, the colors and the huge variety of elements in it work so well together and it was really fun digging through some old photos of the girls and scanning them to scrap.
